This high-quality desk, crafted from solid cherry wood, is a product of "Matsumoto Mingei Kagu" (Matsumoto Folk Craft Furniture)?a brand that upholds the spirit of Japan’s *Mingei* (folk craft) movement. The deep, rich tones of the cherry wood?prized for its hardness and uniquely beautiful grain?combined with the robust construction achieved through expert craftsmanship, lend the piece a dignified elegance and an imposing, commanding presence. Every detail has been meticulously considered, from the convenient, well-placed drawers to the substantial, lathe-turned legs. As the wood ages, it develops an even deeper, more lustrous patina, becoming more beautiful with continued use. Whether used as a primary desk in a study, as a display fixture in a shop, or as a functional workbench, this piece infuses any space with a sense of refined warmth and classic charm. Please note that there are signs of past repairs; please refer to the images for details. There is no manufacturer’s sticker.
