上部には整然と並ぶ美しい千本格子が配され、2本の横帯（帯桟）部分にはアクセントとなる鉄鋲（装飾鋲）がしっかりと打ち込まれています。また、下部の腰板中央には「瓢箪（ひょうたん）」や「花菱・分銅」風の意匠をモチーフにした透かし彫り（手掛け・木彫彫刻）が施された、非常に細部まで手の込んだ極上の建具です。裏面には経年変化した和紙が残っています。
The upper section features a beautifully orderly arrangement of fine vertical slats (*senbon-koshi*), with decorative iron studs firmly driven into the two horizontal crossbars to serve as accents. The lower panel boasts exquisite craftsmanship, featuring an intricate openwork carving?serving as both a handle and an ornamental detail?inspired by motifs such as gourds or *hanabishi* (flower-diamond) and *fundo* (traditional weight) shapes. The reverse side retains its original *washi* paper, which has aged gracefully over time.
