The upper section features an incredibly fine, delicate *senbon-koshi* (thousand-slat) lattice, while the center is accented by a horizontal band?resembling decorative metalwork?studded with iron rivets; this combination creates an aesthetic that is both elegant and substantial. The reverse side is finished with aged *washi* paper, which, when backlit, allows the paper's fibers and the silhouette of the delicate lattice to cast beautiful, intricate shadows. The lower section features a solid wood panel with a distinct, rich grain. This exquisite piece makes a striking addition to any space?whether used as a sliding door in a renovated traditional home, a room divider or freestanding screen, or as an interior architectural feature in a commercial setting.

The items we handle are extremely old.
While we clean, repair, and repaint them after receiving them, no item is perfect.
These items are not suitable for those seeking new items or those who are overly particular.
We would appreciate it if only those who appreciate the value of "wabi-sabi" and "old folk art" would purchase them.
