【商品説明】明治時代（19世紀後半?20世紀初頭）に商店や大店（おおだな）の帳場で貴重品や帳簿を保管するために造られた、真の風格を纏う帳場箪笥です。 重厚な無垢材をふんだんに使用した本体はずっしりと重量があり、造りの頑丈さは折り紙付き。上部の鍵金具付き引き出し、通気性と意匠性を兼ね備えた格子引き戸、そして重厚な鉄金具が目を惹く右下の小扉など、当時の職人技と工夫が凝縮されています。 カギはありません。
This *ch?ba-dansu* (merchant’s chest) exudes an air of authentic distinction; it was originally crafted during the Meiji era (late 19th to early 20th century) for use in the counting rooms of shops and large merchant houses to store valuables and account books. Constructed with an abundance of solid timber, the chest is impressively heavy and boasts exceptional structural integrity. It embodies the craftsmanship and ingenuity of the period, featuring details such as a locking drawer at the top, sliding lattice doors that balance ventilation with aesthetic appeal, and a small lower-right door accented with substantial iron hardware.
