This is a sophisticated Japanese-modern freestanding screen that harmonizes intricate transom (*ranma*) carving with the translucent quality of *sudo* (bamboo-slat) panels. The upper section features a majestic mountain landscape, while the main body consists of a *sudo* panel?beautifully arranged thin bamboo slats?that gently divides the space while allowing light and air to pass through, creating a comfortable atmosphere free from any sense of confinement. Please note that this is a remade piece and bears traces of screw holes and scratches.
