【商品説明】明治時代、商家の帳場（勘定場）にて金品や重要な大福帳（帳簿）を保管するために作られた、最高峰の「帳場箪笥（ちょうばだんす）」です。顔となる前面には、美しく力強い木目が流れる高級材「欅（ケヤキ）」を贅沢に使用。100年以上の時を経て深みを増した艶やかな漆の拭き肌と、頑強な手打ちの鉄金具（ワープロや錠前金具）が重なり合い、そこに在るだけで空気を凛と引き締める圧巻の存在感を放ちます。和室の床の間や客間への設置はもちろん、現代のモダンなリビングやショップ、ホテル・料亭のレセプション（フロント）のアイキャッチとして、空間の格を最高峰へと引き上げる一品です。カギNGは二か所の引き出し。ほかはカギかかります。
This is a masterpiece of *ch?ba-dansu* (merchant’s chest), originally crafted during the Meiji era to secure valuables and vital ledgers within a merchant house's counting room. Its striking front facade makes lavish use of high-quality *keyaki* (Japanese zelkova) wood, showcasing a beautiful, dynamic grain. The piece exudes an awe-inspiring presence?commanding the atmosphere of any room?thanks to the combination of lustrous *urushi* lacquer (finished with a *fuki-urushi* wiping technique that has deepened in character over a century) and robust, hand-forged iron fittings. It is a distinguished piece that elevates the prestige of any space, whether placed in a traditional Japanese *tokonoma* (alcove) or guest room, or used as a focal point in a modern living room, boutique, hotel lobby, or high-end traditional restaurant. Please note that two of the drawers do not lock; the others are lockable.
