昭和中期（1950?60年代頃）、職人の手によって丁寧に作られた総桐（そうきり）の小型衣裳箪笥です。時を経て少し濃さを増した桐の味わい深い飴色の木肌と、時代を感じさせる味わいのある金具（取っ手や角金具）。現代の量産品にはない、当時の日本の手仕事のぬくもりが凝縮されています。「桐箪笥」といえば大型のイメージがありますが、こちらは現代の住環境やマンションの限られたスペースにもスッキリ収まる絶妙な小型（コンパクト）サイズ。着物や和服の保管はもちろん、お気に入りのニットやリネン類の収納、リビングのサイドボードやチェストとして、和室・洋室を問わず上質な「和モダンアンティーク」の空間を演出してくれます。
