We have just received a charming antique small bookshelf with drawers?a piece that embodies the warmth of Japanese daily life in the early Showa era. Despite its compact size, it is a masterpiece that encapsulates the meticulous craftsmanship of the time and the rich, evocative character that only comes with age. It is perfect not only for "Showa-retro" or traditional folk-style interiors but also as a bookshelf or display unit in a Japanese-modern room, or as a fixture in a cafe or boutique.

The items we handle are extremely old.
While we clean, repair, and repaint them after receiving them, no item is perfect.
These items are not suitable for those seeking new items or those who are overly particular.
We would appreciate it if only those who appreciate the value of "wabi-sabi" and "old folk art" would purchase them.
