【商品説明】時代家具の聖地の一つである、山形県最上地方で明治期頃に造られた、大変希少な「隙間箪笥」です。東北の厳しい気候に耐えるよう作られた最上箪笥は、その「堅牢さ」と「圧倒的な存在感」が最大の特徴です。栗材が贅沢に使用され、深く沈み込んだの漆が施されています。最上地方独特の意匠である重厚な手打ち鉄金具がフロントを飾り、コンパクトなサイズ感ながらも、空間の主役になれる圧倒的な風格を放っています。
This is an extremely rare "gap chest" made around the Meiji period in the Mogami region of Yamagata Prefecture, one of the sacred places for antique furniture. Made to withstand the harsh climate of Tohoku, Mogami chests are characterized by their "sturdiness" and "overwhelming presence." Chestnut wood is used lavishly, and it is finished with deeply embedded lacquer. Heavy, hand-forged iron fittings, a design unique to the Mogami region, adorn the front, and despite its compact size, it exudes an overwhelming style that makes it the centerpiece of any room.
