【商品説明】大珍品 折畳式 川渡し籠 「輦台」慶応三年墨書。輦台（れんだい）とは、江戸時代に橋のない河川を渡る際、旅客を駕籠（かご）を乗せて人足が担いで運ぶために使われた、板に2本の担い棒をつけた台のこと。特に大井川などの川越（かわごえ）で使用された。みちろん現存しない大変珍しい古民具です。現品は底面に墨書で「慶応三年」「庄内・・」とあるので、山形県庄内地方で使われていたもの。状態は良好です。店頭引き取り推奨品。配送の場合は、送料要確認です。
A rare and valuable folding river crossing palanquin, a "rendai," inscribed with the date Keio 3 (1867). A rendai is a platform with two carrying poles attached to a board, used in the Edo period to carry travelers in a palanquin across rivers where there were no bridges. It was particularly used for river crossings such as the Oi River. This is an extremely rare antique piece of folk implement that no longer exists. The item has "Keio 3" and "Shonai..." inscribed in ink on the bottom, indicating it was used in the Shonai region of Yamagata Prefecture. It is in good condition. Store pickup is recommended.
