A rare 191-year-old folk craft, the "Incense Clock," dates back to the 5th year of the Tenpo era (1838) of the Edo period. An incense clock measures time by burning incense. A groove of a specific shape is dug into the ashes, and incense is placed in the groove, lit, and measured to determine the length of time it burns. Also known as a "Jokkoban," "Jokkoban," or "Jokkoro," it was used in temple ceremonies and Zen meditation. Please check the images and videos for signs of deterioration. (¡ý [Note] ¡ Items larger than K size cannot be delivered via "household goods delivery" on Tuesdays. ¢ Items larger than 220cm and H size cannot be delivered to some remote islands.) If you have any questions, please contact us by phone, LINE, email, or Instagram message. We will answer your questions honestly.
