【商品説明】貴重な船箪笥 船金庫 店主一押し 豪華造り 幕末−明治時代1860-1870年代。船箪笥は、江戸時代から明治時代にかけて、日本海の北前船で使われていた貴重品入れです。船の揺れや衝撃に耐えられるよう、堅牢に作られており、盗難防止のためにも複雑な細工が施されています。船箪笥の歴史は、江戸時代の初期に遡ります。当時、日本海の北前船は、北海道から九州までの各地を行き来し、物資や人々を運んでいました。船乗りたちは、航海中に貴重品や衣類などを保管するために、船箪笥を持ち歩いていました。船の揺れや衝撃に耐えられるよう、堅牢に作られています。
船箪笥には、大きく分けて以下の4種類があります。
懸硯（かけすずり）：硯を収納するための小型の船箪笥。
帳箱（ちょうばこ）：帳面や書類を収納するための船箪笥。
半櫃（はんがい）：着物や衣類を収納するための船箪笥。
知工箪笥（ちくだんす）：金具や細工が施された豪華な船箪笥。

A funa tansu is a container for valuables that was used on Kitamae ships on the Sea of Japan from the Edo period to the Meiji period. It is made to be strong enough to withstand the vibrations and shocks of the ship, and is also intricately designed to prevent theft. The history of funa tansu dates back to the early Edo period. At that time, Kitamaebune ships in the Sea of Japan traveled between Hokkaido and Kyushu, transporting goods and people. Sailors carried chests with them to store valuables and clothing during their voyages. It is made to be sturdy and able to withstand the vibrations and shocks of the ship.
There are four main types of funa tansu:
Kakesuzuri: A small chest of drawers for storing inkstones.
Chobako: A chest of drawers for storing books and documents.
Hangai: A chest of drawers for storing kimonos and other clothing.
Chikudansu: A luxurious boat chest with metal fittings and details.
