【商品説明】ゴツゴツな船箪笥 船金庫 明治時代再生 1880-90年代。船箪笥。
船箪笥（ふなたんす）とは、江戸時代中期から明治時代にかけて、北前船で使われていた小型の箪笥です。北前船の船倉に積み込まれ、船乗りの貴重品などを保管するために使われていました。木材を組み合わせて作られており、船の揺れを吸収する構造になっています。また、船乗りが持ち運びしやすいような構造になっいます。北前船の歴史とともに、北陸地方に伝承されてきました。現在では、船箪笥は、北陸地方の伝統工芸品として人気があります。と同時に一時は目の玉が飛び出るほどの高額商品でしたが、お求めやすい価格帯で出品しました。現品は完全オリジナルではなく、後年補修再生してものです。カギはありません。引き出しに虫食い痕あります。
